About the job

To create and nurture long-term relationships with small and mid-sized clients in the US and the SAPRO employees that service them. To proactively institute processes and training that helps both clients and employees deliver high quality outcomes. Resolve any issues that may arise.

 

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Any advanced business management related qualification

Minimum Experience:

  • 1 - 3 years' relevant work experience in Client Relations or similar field preferred

Key Performance Areas:

Client Relations Strategy

  • Design and continuously refine effective short-and long-term talent planning strategies to ensure that the needs of our Clients are met
  • Create a vision for, and plan of, an exceptional Client experience
  • Ensure organic growth with new and existing Clients in the Audit field
  • Own the strategic implementation and the growth of the business with new service offerings to support the unique needs of the BDO Alliance members
  • Own the congruence between the needs of the CRM team and the Success Team, to ensure optimum services are provided to the Clients
  • Own congruence between the needs of the CRM team and Operations (e.g. Talent, Logistics, HR & Legal, Operations, etc)


Client Interface

  • Ensure our Clients are satisfied with our service, and that their needs are being met
  • Engage with the required stakeholders to ensure that any issues that arise with our Clients are dealt with expediently, with minimal disruption to the services and resolved in a manner that meets the Clients expectations.
  • Attend new BDO Alliance Client meetings (where applicable)
  • Take over new clients onboarding process for both client and SAPRO consultant team (i.e. Training, Technology, Success, HR, etc) together with Success Managers support
  • Present to Clients to demonstrate the value of SAPRO to their organization
  • Engage with Clients on the performance results of their Consultants, the progression on their projects and once the engagement is over, ensure the Close out meeting addresses all the Client requirements
  • Nurture the relationship with key Client representatives (Sponsor; Champion; Partners and Planners)
  • Client site visits for onshore assignments
  • Ensure organization and participate in proactively aligning/planning with clients strategic goals and workforce needs
  • Expand SAPRO services in Audit and cross selling opportunities for Tax and Advisory

Service line offering

  • Ensure the Audit/Tax/Advisory service offering has optimum Performance Evaluation and Utilization results
  • Develop new service line offerings in Audit/Tax/Advisory e.g. EBP, Affordable Housing, SPAC, Audit Readiness or others as necessary for BDO Alliance members

Budget/Financial Management

  • Ensure the Audit/Tax/Advisory service offering has optimum Performance Evaluation and Utilization results
  • Develop new service line offerings in Audit/Tax/Advisory e.g. EBP, Affordable Housing, SPAC, Audit Readiness or others as necessary for BDO Alliance members

Talent Management

  • Attract, develop and retain a highly effective and scalable team
  • Establish performance metrics for the team to drive accountability and effectiveness
  • Work with the CRM Team to build best in class processes focused on client and employee consultant high quality experience

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Prior knowledge of Canva and Hubspot/CRM program (advantageous)
