To assist the Financial Manager and the other members of the Finance Department in fulfilling their duties and functions
Chartered Accountant – India
8 – 12 years finance management working experience
Key Performance Areas
Strategic Management Support
Align with the organizational strategy to ensure that the finance functions deliver on the day to day requirements as set by the business
Support Finance Manager in ensuring that all finance administrative tasks are delivered with efficiency and quality
Maintaining and finalization of books of accounts and preparation of Financial Statements.
Tax Compliance: Thorough knowledge of tax, compliances, GST
Handling of statutory audit, tax audit, internal audit
Co ordinating with consultants and vendors for support and compliance
Attending hearings and submission of documents to Tax, GST, other related statutory bodies
Reconciliation of bank accounts on regular basis and review of fund position
Preparation of monthly MIS
Review and approve consultant timesheets (approximately 200 - 300 per week);
Extract and edit relevant timesheet reports;
Prepare the weekly timesheet analysis on internal staff;
Maintain the timesheet system’s functionality (adding/removing employees, adding projects).
Doing the initial detailed review of the invoices prepared in Xero along with supporting documentation required.
Assist with the calculation and review thereof.
Coordinating with Payroll vendor and processing of monthly salary payments to employees.
Oversee the day-to-day bookkeeping of the South African and American companies;
Assist with the bookkeeping for the outsourced accounting services companies;
Prepare relevant reporting tools for SAPRO and our clients.
Ensure all current processes of recording finances are adhered too and escalate any discrepancies through the appropriate channels
Takes initiative to improve internal SAPRO financial processes
Ensure information is received from staff and local management team to collate accurate and timely
Budget/Financial Management Support
Supports budget and forecasting activities and monthly comparison of Budget with actual
Purchase order Authorisation (tracking with Budget)
Develop effective and supportive relationships with colleagues
Flexible in working as part of a team to fully support the overall business operation
Enthusiasm and positivity to work within a new and growing team
Ambition to increase knowledge and experience across the timesheet and payroll process
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially spreadsheets
Experience in a similar time sheet coordination and administrative support role
Flexible work style and ability to work under pressure
Ability to work on tight deadlines and adapt your working patterns
