Purpose of the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Onboarding specialist to join our People & Culture group & provide a seamless experience to all new hires of the SAPRO India business. Operate as the focal point of contact for all employees that would be part of the India entity. Integrate with allied teams within People & Culture and support them on current & future projects and programmes focused on attracting, developing, engaging and retaining talent, and strengthening SAPRO’s Employee Value Proposition.

Qualifications

Required

  • Degree in Human Resources
  • Any Graduate (Commerce/Arts/Science)

Desired

  • Master’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline, preferably Human Resources

Minimum Experience

  • 3+ years of proven work experience as an On-boarding specialist within the Human Resources function of a small/medium sized firm.

Desired Experience

  • Prior work experience within the training & development/ L&OD function handling on-boarding of new hires or conducting soft-skills training will be preferred.
  • Ability to co-ordinate with teams across the spectrum and efficiently run the new hire orientation for all India resources.

Key Performance Areas

Talent Management Support

  • Play an active role in the onboarding process, from welcoming all new joiners, facilitating handover processes between the relevant teams, and acting as the primary point of contact
  • Address relevant queries of new joiners, ensuring follow-up actions, and/or directing these to the appropriate Team member
  • Co-ordinate the FAQ process from new joiners through the various channels
  • Support the effective delivery of the orientation and integration process, assisting with a seamless process of new joiners
  • Support the administration and implementation of relevant survey and organizational diagnostic processes
  • Provide support and delivery on relevant change management initiatives
  • Support the delivery of any engagement initiatives that attracts, retains, and develops talent and promotes a positive working culture

Post Offer Management

  • Be the single point of contact for all offered candidates & keep them active until date of joining. Maintain smooth communication between the TA & P&C groups involved in the hiring

Data analysis and reporting

  • Provide input into development of meaningful data analyses and reporting
  • Preparation of relevant operational reports
  • Present on key trends and results within functional area of responsibility, as and when required

Joining Formalities

  • Collecting paperwork and other related documents from the new hire.
  • Introducing new employees to the team members.
  • Contacting the technical team for arranging hardware and software for the new employee.
  • Staying up to date with innovative and creative ways of onboarding new employees.
