Purpose of the Role:

To lead the sales operations' function and the sales operations team. To design, implement and manage sales projections and forecasting processes that provide accurate prediction into future revenue performance. Ensure forecasting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes within the firm and focus on increasing efficiency and ensuring reliable results.

Key Performance Areas

Strategy Management & Impact

  • Designing and implementing strategic plans to reach sales targets
  • Lead the sales and operations team in the administration of strategic imperatives for the team and firm
  • Lead sales and operations advise for all matters relating to the smooth running of the sales and operational workflows 
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships internally and externally
  • Commit to the team vision, and help them understand how their role fits into the big picture

Operational Effectiveness

  • Projections and forecasting
  • Client calls and prospecting
  • Account Management
  • Sales expertise to assist closing deals
  • Leading and motivating staff to improve customer service with clients.
  • Cultivating lasting relationships with clients to grow customer loyalty
  • Developing and promoting weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives
  • Drafting detailed and accurate sales metrics and reports
  • Working with clients to better understand their business needs and goals
  • Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices
  • Estimating sales volume and profit for current and new products
  • Establishing a sales training program to train new employees
  • Assess the firm’s sales performance.
  • Research trends and competition sources to strategically drive the firm’s business development pipeline

Budget/Financial Management

  • Perform accurate budgeting and forecasting across sales operations and projects  
  • Monitor and manage cost and terms with clients for resources

Talent Management

  • Leading the team and managing individuals.
  • Motivate the sales team
  • Attract, develop, and retain a highly effective and scalable team 

Qualifications/ Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting, Management, or a similar field preferred


  • Honors Degree in Accounting, Business, Management, Marketing or similar
  • CA/CPA preferable


  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven sales and operations experience
  • Experience leading teams of 10 – 20 people
  • Generating at least USD 5 – 10 million
  • Hands on experience as sales operation leader
  • Accounting (Assurance, tax, and advisory services) industry experience
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Suite
  • Prior knowledge of Canva and HubSpot/CRM program (advantageous)
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Forecasting
  • Project Management skills
  • ESG and Blockchain skills
